Biography

My passion for music, combined with the desire to bring a little more light into the world through it, drives me.

As a young boy, I could never put down my father’s guitar and always tried to create something musical from its six strings.

At the age of 14, I applied to the Rock Academy in Zagreb and was accepted for individual lessons in Solo (Lead) Electric Guitar with the renowned guitarist Alan Dovic.

Teaching Approach / Concept

Guitar Lessons

With each student, I conduct a short audition to assess their current level of guitar experience. Together, we discuss their goals and create an individual learning plan.

Vocal Lessons

I teach classical singing, focusing on singing freely and fully from the diaphragm, in a way that is personal and individual to each singer.

Recording

Students who wish to make recordings in a studio also learn how to use microphones and headphones correctly to deliver a strong, free performance.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Mirza since 2022, first in person and later via video calls after I moved away to complete my studies. The lessons are truly valuable, and thanks to Mirza I have made significant progress in my guitar playing. He is always cheerful and positive, even when he has a lot on his plate, patient, motivating, and simply very personable. My lessons include a healthy mix of technical exercises, music theory, and repertoire. What we work on in class is regularly reviewed to ensure it aligns with my personal goals. When it comes to the songs we practice, I’m also free to suggest less common genres (in my case, Math Rock and J-Pop). Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the lessons with Mirza and can highly recommend him!
